Monty the Mole is a character from a Children’s picturebook I’m working on at the Moment. I first came up with the character in about 1993 when I was 5 and he has since resurfaced. Here he is made from a hand dyed, second hand cashmere jumper. I love creating characters in 3D from recycled fabrics and I welcome bespoke commissions.
I was commissioned by the Oxford University press to produce three bespoke promotional toys for Philip Reeve and Sarah MacIntyre’s roly poly flying pony, Kevin. He’s made from a combination of new and repurposed materials. I like to recycle wherever possible and welcome new projects.
